Peacock and Pomegranates, acrylic on collage, 44″x56″

I love making abstract still life paintings and including birds in them.  This particular one plays off of deep reds and blues, with oranges glowing against the white tablecloth.  For me, pomegranates and oranges speak of celebrating the sweet things in life.
