This painting started out as an effort to connect with my identity as a divine being. This is an easily lost characteristic and one that takes constant effort to remember. I let the piece develop along the way, allowing each step guide to the next. The end result came better and brighter than I ever could have hoped for. The finished piece became one about the flow that comes from connecting to our higher power, like water regenerating every part of our being and causing it to flourish. I utilized my style to incorporate several symbols to visually explain how I feel in prayer and meditation.
